Workshop Format:

A highly interactive hands-on workshop designed to equip today’s dental clinician with the skill set to recognize and identify the earliest warning signs of HPV and non-HPV oral and oropharyngeal cancer. Breakout sessions will involve hands-on use of adjunctive screening devices, AirPlay mirroring of a live examination, and the review of techniques both extraoral and intraorally. The integration of Teledentistry demonstrating ability to assess, capture, annotate and manage findings providing your practice and dental patients with the best possible opportunity for earlier discovery of oral cancer.

Learning Outcomes:

• To perform a systematic examination with attention to high-risk anatomical areas 
• To recognize the subtle, life saving symptoms that may accompany oral/oropharyngeal cancer
• To integrate resources to aid assessment, documentation and management of a finding
• To explore the value of adjunctive screening devices
